Massive storms roared across America’s heartland last December in one of the most severe tornado outbreaks in recent history. The path of devastation tore through the Midwest, primarily through the state of Kentucky, with on tornado cutting a path over 230 miles long. Nearly 100 people have died, and thousands were left homeless or without power. The Center for Disaster Philanthropy is recommending support for the following organizations that are providing immediate needs as well as long-term recovery.
